EGM Announcement: Sunday 25th July | Exeter Lions Football Club

Dear Members,

Following on from the Chairperson's email, I would like to announce that the EGM will now be held at approximately 14:30 on Sunday 25th July 2010 at The Imperial (New North Rd, EX4 4HF) in St Davids.

I apologise in advance as due to work committments I will not be able to be in attendance at the meeting myself.

This will be held immediately following the scheduled friendly match against Pricey's 6 at Streatham Sports Hall. Start time isn't guaranteed as we have to leave time for people to shower and grab a post match drink/chat with the opposition.

The purpose for this meeting, as before, is to resolve the issue of the outstanding committee positions of Team Coach and Social Secretary as well as to agree the proposed changes to the constitution (which will be circulated shortly).

As mentioned in the Chairpersons email, the existing nominees (i.e. Paul and Rich/Ross) need not apply again, however there is once again opportunity for any others who are interested in either role to come forward.

Anyone who wishes to put themselves forward for these positions should make their intentions known to myself by email with a short statement no more than 250 words.

Voting will again be by closed ballot. Nominations should be received no later than 12:00 Monday 19th July.

Those who will not be able to attend the meeting, but would like to vote, please also inform me by no later than 12:00 Monday 19th July.
